Fiber / Fabrics into Pellets Recycling Solution
Why Recycle Fibers / Waste Fabrics?
1. Reduce environmental impact: Reduce pollution and microplastic problems from landfills and incineration.
2. Conserve valuable resources: Replace virgin resources like oil and cotton, reducing energy consumption.
3. Create economic value: Form a green industrial chain, responding to policy and market demands.
4. Promote a circular economy: Turn waste into treasure, building a sustainable future.
From Fiber / Waste Fabric to Pellets:
This process essentially involves taking waste fabrics (usually pure or high-content thermoplastic chemical fibers such as polyester, nylon, and polypropylene) and processing them through a series of physical steps: melting, extrusion, and pelletizing to create recycled plastic granules. These pellets can then be used as raw materials to produce new fibers, plastic products, or other materials.
How to Turn Fiber / Waste Fabric into Plastic Pellets?
1. Pre-treatment and sorting: Recycled waste textiles (old clothes, industrial waste, scraps, etc.) are first sorted by composition. Because different components (such as polyester, nylon, cotton) have different melting points and properties, they must be processed separately to ensure the purity of the recycled pellets.

2. Feeding: The pre-treated fiber material is fed into the plastic pelletizer via a conveyor belt.
3. Heating and melting: Inside the extruder barrel, the fibers (specifically thermoplastic fibers, such as polyester/PET, nylon/PA, polypropylene/PP) are heated above their melting point through electric heating and frictional heat generated by the screw shearing, molten in the form of a molten material.
4. Filtration and purification: The molten plastic is passed through a fine filter under high pressure to remove any tiny impurities that may have remained from the pre-treatment (such as dust, incompletely separated lint, etc.). This step directly determines the purity and quality of the recycled pellets.
4. Extrusion: The filtered, purified melt is continuously extruded from the extruder head to form strips.
5. Cooling: The extruded hot plastic strips are immediately cooled and solidified in a water tank or by water spraying.

6. Cutting: The cooled plastic strips are fed into a pelletizer and cut into uniformly sized cylindrical or flattened oval pellets. This is the final product—recycled plastic pellets.
Applications of Recycled Plastic Granules:
These recycled plastic granules, made from waste textiles, can be used in multiple fields depending on their purity and quality:
1. Textile Fibers: Remelted and spun into new polyester filaments or staple fibers for clothing and home textiles (such as stuffing and carpets).
2. Plastic Bottles: High-purity recycled PET granules can be used to manufacture food-contact grade plastic bottles (subject to strict certification and cleaning).
3. Automotive Parts: Used to manufacture automotive interior panels, bumpers, ventilation ducts, etc.
4. Electronic and Electrical Housings: Used to manufacture housings for printers, monitors, and other equipment.
5. Daily Hardware: Zippers, buttons, plastic containers, toolboxes, etc.
6. Building Materials: Non-structural plastic-wood products, railings, drainage pipes, etc.
