Main Equipment of HDPE Bottle Recycling Washing Line:

1. Chain Plate Conveyor: Used to steadily and uniformly feed baled waste material into the production line.

2. Bag Breaker: Automatically breaks open and separates garbage bags containing loose bottles, loosening the bottles for subsequent processing.

3. Manual Sorting Platform: Workers here remove large, obvious contaminants (e.g., cardboard boxes, other plastic bottles, metal).

6. Hot Wash Tank: Uses hot water and specialized detergents, combined with heating and agitation, to soften and initially remove adhesives and stubborn stains from the flakes.

7. Friction Washer: The core cleaning equipment. Flakes are subjected to intense friction against the machine’s inner wall and against each other within a water current, further dislodging labels and contaminants.

8. Sink-Float Separation Tank / Hydrocyclone: This is a key piece of equipment in the HDPE bottle washing line. It utilizes the density differences between HDPE (density > water, sinks) and bottle caps (PP/PE, density < water, float) and residual labels (varying densities) for highly efficient separation. Clean HDPE flakes are discharged from the bottom, while light impurities are skimmed off from the top.

9. Spiral Elevator: Vertically conveys the washed, wet flakes out of the water tank.

10. Dewatering Machine: Performs initial dewatering on the flakes, removing most surface moisture.

11. Rinsing Tank: Provides a final rinse for the flakes with clean water, ensuring no detergent residue remains.

12. High-Speed Spin Dryer: Uses centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to vigorously remove surface water from the flakes, reducing moisture content to a very low level (e.g., around 10%) in preparation for drying.

13. Hot Air Drying System: Typically uses a pipe dryer or cyclone dryer, employing a stream of hot air to completely evaporate any residual moisture from the flakes, bringing them to the outgoing standard (moisture content < 1%).

14. Optical Sorter (Optional, but crucial): Uses near-infrared or color CCD camera technology to accurately identify and separate impurities such as off-color flakes and trace amounts of other plastics. It is key to producing high-purity recycled material.

15. Metal Detector and Separator: Ensures the final product is free from any metal impurities, protecting downstream pelletizing equipment and guaranteeing product quality.

16. Baler / Big Bag Packing Machine: Automatically weighs and packs the clean, dry HDPE flakes for storage and transportation.
