Twin Screw Plastic Granulator Machine
Twin screw plastic granulator machine is mainly divided into two categories, including parallel twin-screw granulator and conical twin-screw granulator. Compared with single-screw plastic granulator.
The twin-screw granulator has the following characteristics during granulation and molding processing:
1. The material conveying efficiency of single screw depends on the friction performance of solid material and the viscosity of melt. In the twin-screw extruder, the conveying of materials is carried out by the principle of positive displacement, and no pressure backflow will occur. Therefore, the material is easier to feed than a single-screw extruder.
2. Due to the short screw length of the twin-screw plastic granulator, the residence time of the material in the twin-screw extruder is short, which can avoid the occurrence of thermal degradation of recycled fibers and reduce power consumption.
3. The materials are sheared and mixed vertically and horizontally, and have excellent homogenizing and plasticizing effects.
4. The twin screw plastic granulator has excellent exhaust and self-cleaning functions.
5. The flow rate of the twin screw granulator machine is not sensitive to the pressure of the die, and it is more effective for extruding products of large size and area. The flow rate of the single-screw granulation extruder is more sensitive to the die pressure.
